Alex Chin is Vice President, Senior Controller at Empire State Realty Trust. Mr. Chin oversees accounting for the Empire State Building Observatory and Retail. He joined the company in 2006 after working at a number of CPA Firms (M. Alfieri Co, Inc., Hampshire Company, Forest City Ratner Co.). During his time at ESRT, Mr. Chin has developed and maintained department systems and controls, implemented new software and programs to improve efficiencies, and been a team leader for development of the company’s first RPA process and various dashboards.
Mr. Chin has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.
