James Storck

Vice President, Process Improvements & Total Rewards

James Storck is the Vice President of Process Improvements and Total Rewards for Empire State Realty Trust. Mr. Storck is responsible for the enhancement of efficiencies and improvements of processes and procedures at Empire State Realty Trust, with a focus on accuracy and transparency. His leadership includes oversight of Total Rewards, which includes compensation, benefits, 401k, and more, for colleagues.

Mr. Storck possesses nearly 12 years of experience as a leader in Total Rewards. After living in Japan for 5 years, he jumpstarted his career by managing Kinokuniya’s HR and GA functions in the US, Sojitz’s payroll and benefits function for their North American sector, and enhancing the payroll and benefit functions of ICSC.

He has been integral in the negotiation of benefits for colleagues while he prioritizes the quality of different programs, modernization of benefits programs, and assistance in the transitions to modern retirement plans throughout his career.

He graduated SUNY Albany in 2004 with a B.A. in East Asian Studies with a concentration in Japanese, which assisted him with the first 10 years of his career.
