Peter Sjolund is the Senior Vice President of Design & Construction for Empire State Realty Trust. Mr. Sjolund is responsible for the design, construction, management of all capital improvement and major tenant space prep projects portfolio wide. He joined ESRT in 2014 after previously working at Xanadu/American Dream project (owned by Triple Five).
A career highlight of Peter’s has been his work on the Empire State Building Observatory redevelopment, completed in 2019, along with the restoration of the Mooring Mast. Prior to his work with ESRT, he was involved in the Xanadu/American Dream Mall project at JFK International Airport, Terminal 4.
Peter attended Rutgers University and received his B.S. in Civil Engineering.
