Jackie Renton is the EVP, Co-Head of Real Estate, and Chief Operating Officer for Empire State Realty Trust. She is responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of ESRT’s real estate portfolio. In this role, she leads property management, construction, and sustainability for the commercial portfolio, as well as the company’s multifamily platform, with a focus on value creation across the entire ESRT portfolio.
Prior to joining ESRT, Ms. Renton served as Chief Operating Officer at Atlas Capital Group, where she managed the execution of business plans for the firm’s $4 billion, 10-million-square-foot portfolio of residential, office, retail, and industrial assets in New York and Los Angeles. Prior to Atlas, she served as Principal, Acquisitions & Asset Management at AION Partners, where she structured new investments and oversaw a mixed use portfolio. She also previously held positions at JPMorgan in the CMBS Large Loan Originations and Real Estate Investment Banking divisions.
Ms. Renton holds a Master of Business Administration with Honors in Real Estate and Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering cum laude from Duke University. She is active in industry organizations and community initiatives including WX – New York Women Executives in Real Estate – where she sits on the Scholarship Committee and acts as a mentor. She is also a past Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee for the Hudson Square Business Improvement District. In 2024, she was recognized on Bisnow’s New York Power Women list and she is a licensed real estate broker in New York.
