Lesley Lisser is the Senior Director of Multifamily Asset Management at Empire State Realty Trust (ESRT). She is responsible for managing the existing multifamily portfolio and establishing and implementing foundational processes and capabilities from the ground up. Her role also includes contributing to the growth of ESRT’s multifamily portfolio.
Prior to joining ESRT, Ms. Lisser spent 13 years at Invesco Real Estate, where she served as Senior Director of Investment Management. In this role, she oversaw the Northeast portfolio, which comprised approximately 8,000 units ranging from high-end luxury to affordable housing across a geographic span from Washington, D.C. to Boston, including properties in New York City. She has also held positions in asset management at Lehman Brothers Holdings LLC, Wafra Investment Advisory Group, Brookfield Opportunity Fund, and Emmes Asset Management.
She earned a Master of Science in Real Estate and a Diploma in Construction Management from New York University, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Syracuse University. She is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) and holds the BOMA Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation. Ms. Lisser serves on the advisory board of the NYU Stern School of Business’ Chen Institute for Global Real Estate Finance and is an active member of WX (New York Women Executives in Real Estate), ULI New York’s Housing Council, and a committee member of She Builds–Rebuilding Together NYC. She is a past board member of the Garment Center BID and a former Co-Chair of ULI New York’s Housing Council.
