Indian musicians Devi Sri Prasad and Shankar Mahadevan flipped the famous light switch in honor of India Day before posing for photos throughout the building’s interactive museum and observation decks.

Taco Mahal set up shop at the official Empire State Building cart for an India Day pop-up to celebrate the authentic flavors of India with a modern twist. Guests enjoyed the view and snacked on samosas and roti tacos on the 86th Floor Observatory.

That evening, the Empire State Building shined its world-famous tower lights in honor of the 75th annual Indian Independence Day.
