Celebrity sightings abound at the Empire State Building Observatory Experience throughout the month of November, from professional fighters to the Radio City Rockettes. The abundance of visits garnered plenty of great press for the iconic Observatory.
Team USA

Men’s National Soccer Team Coach Gregg Berhalter lit the Empire State Building to celebrate the reveal of the Men’s National Team roster for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar on Nov. 9. The coach’s visit and lightings for the Men’s National Team was picked up by CBS Sports and featured in broadcasts on ESPN, CBS Evening News, CNN, and BBC Radio.
Face-Off Up Top

UFC Headliners Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira visited the Empire State Building on Nov. 10 for an official face-off on the building’s 86th Floor Observatory ahead of their title fight at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 12. The tense moment was covered by MSN, MMA Mania, and Yahoo Sports.
New York State of Mind

The Empire State Building hosted the team from the newly opened Starbucks Reserve Empire State Building for a lighting ceremony with special guest Alicia Keys on Nov. 15. The Starbucks Reserve Empire State Building store opening was featured in NY Business Journal, Food & Wine, New York Post, TimeOut, and in broadcasts on NBC and ABC.
Christmas Kickoff

The Rockettes brought in the holiday season at the Empire State Building as they lit up the building to celebrate the Radio City Christmas Spectacular’s opening night on Nov. 18. The lighting was covered by ABC, Pix 11, CBS, and NBC.
